How can I help?
Have you experienced a traumatic event or adverse life experience that is preventing you live the life that you had hoped for?
When we have experienced very challenging situations, we can find that the past keeps invading our present. This might mean that we are thinking or worrying about what happened too often, finding it difficult to relax or experience joy and being overwhelmed by strong emotions or physical sensations.
If you are still living with the psychological consequences of a traumatic experience, psychological therapy can help you regain the control and psychological relief that you deserve.

Psychological Therapy
Support and therapy by a qualified professional are important for people who are still being impacted by trauma. With your input, I will plan and facilitate an individualised evidence-based treatment using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). As well as being trained in EMDR, I have experienced it myself. Through this therapy, I will help you find relief from your distress and begin to move toward living in line with your values.
It is my hope for you that therapy will help improve other areas of your life. That could mean a better school experience, returning to work, improvements in your relationships with loved ones or the confidence to start something new.
The coping strategies that you will learn in therapy will not only help you manage the distress of the past but will also be important tools to help you face and manage future challenges. Give yourself permission to let go of the past, take back control and prioritise your health and well-being. Find out more about therapy at Beo here.
